你是否很容易混淆section及sector兩個英文生字？

你可以用下面步驟，釐清這兩個類似字不同處。

步驟一：用intersection學習section

intersection =inter兩者之間＋section（地段，區域，地區）→ n.十字路口

section →n. 地段，區域，地區

例如： Section 1, Roosevelt Road（羅斯福路一段）

步驟二：學習section常用片語

section是指某物被切割成片段（部分）

section →n. 地段，區域，地區；部分；片段

例如：①the residential section  住宅區

②the business section  商業區

③the richest section of the community  社區最富裕的地段

④a smoking section  吸煙區

⑤the financial section of the newspaper  報紙的財經版（部分）

⑥the comments section   評論部分

步驟三：學習sector常用片語

sector主要指一國的經濟活動，和哪個領域或行業有關？

sector →n.【數】扇形；扇形面；（經濟活動的）行業，領域

⑦國營企業   public sector

⑧私人民營企業  private sector

⑨零售業  retail sector

⑩服務業  service sector

⑪金融（領域，行）業  financial sector
